Krud Kutter Paint Preparation Rust Remover is a proprietary (water-based) formulation that penetrates into every void of a metal surface and dissolves rust/oxidation through chemical action. Then tiny, rust-inhibiting crystals are formed and become integral with the surface molecules of the metal to resist future rusting. This product also removes blueing on firearms instantly. It can be used as a rust inhibitor on unpainted metal protecting bare metal against rust for up to 12 months when applied according to directions. This product should not be used on concrete or marble. One quart covers up to 50 square feet of surface.
