Down to Earth Products started one evening while causally walking through a drugstore. We noticed many different types of cleaning products on their shelves, some were familiar and others were not. One product in particular stood out as we had recently met the CEO of the company in person on a trip. The CEO had given us a first-hand awareness of the usefulness and environmental qualities of the product.

The drugstore we were walking through was in bankruptcy and soon to be out of business. On a whim we decided it might be kind of fun to “get the word out” and help show people how they could be green and clean! So we bought up the entire inventory of product and the rest is now our history.

From this simple beginning, we started attending trade shows, networking and evaluating other cleaning products for user safety, environmental consciousness and the ability to provide quality results. We quickly learned that everyone wants to be environmentally consciousness in some form or another however they need to have a product that works well. Our job is to find products that meet these criteria.

Located near the I-275 interchange in Colerain Township, Ohio we have been serving the needs of our customers since 2003. We provide a friendly voice to callers, answer our email personally and direct customers to the products and information they need. That’s how the name “Down to Earth Products” came to be. It grew from the innocence of an idea that was simple and straightforward. We built a website of information around the idea to help our customers make more informed choices. As our customer base grew, so did the suggestions from our customers to carry “hard-to-find” products that really work.

Luckily for us, Down to Earth Products has no singular meaning. While our focus sometimes fluctuates, our initial vision has always remained intact. Provide high quality, safer products that meet the needs of our customer. To that end we’ve reorganized and separated our online presence into a marketplace of offerings. Through these changes, we are working to provide those specific methods that help you shop, educate or ask. It’s our passion, enjoy it!
